Description of ASTM-E2641 2017ASTM E2641-09-Reapproved2017Historical Standard: Standard Practice for Best Practices for Safe Application of 3D Imaging TechnologyASTM E2641Scope 1.1 This practice for the safe application of 3D imaging technology will focus primarily on the application of specific technology components common to 3D imaging systems. When appropriate, reference may be made to existing standards written for said technologies. 1.2 Safety standards relevant to specific industry practices where the technology may be applied will not be developed given the very broad potential for application over many industries. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety and health practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use. 1.5 This international standard was developed in accordance with internationally recognized principles on standardization established in the Decision on Principles for the Development of International Standards, Guides and Recommendations issued by the World Trade Organization Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) Committee.
