Description of ASTM-D6926 2010ASTM D6926 - 10Standard Practice for Preparation of Bituminous Specimens Using Marshall ApparatusActive Standard ASTM D6926 | Developed by Subcommittee: D04.20 Book of Standards Volume: 04.03 ASTM D6926Significance and Use Compacted bituminous mixture specimens molded by this procedure are used for various physical tests such as stability, flow, indirect tensile strength, fatigue, creep, and modulus. Density and voids analysis are also conducted on specimens for mixture design and evaluation of field compaction. Note 1Uncompacted mixtures are used for determination of theoretical maximum specific gravity. 1.
