ASTM B853

1. Scope

1.1 This specification covers stainless steel powder metallurgy (P/M) structural components with a 7.7-g/cm 3 minimum density that are fabricated from prealloyed powder consisting primarily of iron, chromium, nickel, molybdenum, and boron and are intended for use in corrosive service.

1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as the standard. The SI values given in parentheses are for information only.
