Insulate Ukraine The war in Ukraine has left thousands living in substandard housing conditions, insufficient for winter weather. This course reviews a solution developed by a British engineer that addresses the pressing problem of delivering replacement windows in a war zone to improve thermal comfort in Ukrainian homes. 30 minutes.

Faculty BIO

Ariane Hansen is the Director of Education with AEC Daily and has been with the organisation for 16 years. An architect with work experience in design and project management of residential, institutional, and commercial work, Ariane spent several years with Public Works and Government Services Canada as an architect and project manager for capital projects. She has also been a LEED AP BD+C for over a decade, and is a passionate proponent of sustainable, high-performance buildings.
